10 years ago a team of scientist went to the digital world in search to find out more about it, & to find a missing child (Keenan). Digigates were opening all over in the real world, and people began missing rapidly. The team soon came upon Saverleomon who hate hatred towards all humans. Spencer (Marcuse's Farther) stayed behind to make sure that Saberleomon didn't come after them when they went into the digitalgate back into the real world. Merukimon and Sperncer soon strike up a conversation, he soon learns that the baby child they were trying to find was being raised by one of Merukimons "helpers". Later on, Kurata retunes to the digitalworld and takes things into his own hands. He used the Digimon Gizumon which sends a wave of beam, making it so digimon can't be reborn even as a digiegg. Gizumon killed Frigimon who was taking care of Keenan, he watched as Frimon died. From that point on keenan always had hatred for humans and wanted to destroy them. after some time has passed, Spencer sends Kamemon & Kudamon to the real world with a message to come up with a program that digimon and humans can work together. That's when DATS started. Spencer seems to disappear after that leaving no trace of where he could be.
