Henry is a really extreme serious boy. He doesn't like fighting at all and tries to avoid it as much as possible. He doesn’t let terriermon fight either because of what could happen to him and others. When it comes to saving someone or something Henry feels it’s up to him to do it alone because it’s his entire fault. Terriermon and Henry have a weird relationship but still a good one. Henry is much protected of his younger sister Susie. He also tells her that terriermon is just a plush doll. Henry may be serious all the time but it sometimes helps out later on.

Rika is the cold-hearted stubborn one of the group. One day after winning a Digimon Card Game Tournament she claimed her name as “The Digimon Queen.” After that she goes home to find a bunch of Digimon that want her to tame them. Rika wants only the best fighter to make her the strongest so she picks Renamon. If you tried to get close to Renamon and Rika they’d probably kill you. Rika does get a bit uptight around Ryo knowing he beat her in the first Digimon Tournament. At first Rika thinks Digimon are only made for fighting and that they are just data, but after Renamon almost dies she has a change of heart, and thinks Digimon are more than just data. With the help of the other Tamers Rika starts to lighten up a “bit.” Rika’s parents are divorced so she lives with her mother and grandma. Her mother is always trying to get her to wear dresses. Rika hates dresses and is more into that tomboy look. She at first wears a broken heart on her t-shirt but when the D-reaper attacks the real world, Rika ends up wearing a t-shirt that has a full heart on it. Rika is probably the strongest Tamer.

Kazu is the air-head of the group. He became a tamer way after the others. He went to the digital in hopes too find a digimon and he did; Andromon, which de-digivolved into Guardromon. Kazu is far better than kenta and takato at the digimon card game but not as near as better than Rika is. Kazu has the weirder phrases for i.g. " Crazier than a soup sandwich" (which was probable only in the English version). In one episode kazu pretends he’s a digimon " Blackwarkazumon" which was seriously funny. kazu may be an air head but he knows when to be serious when danger is there. Most of the time he just ends up running away knowing is ass is in trouble.

Kenta wouldn't be called the geek of the group just the air-head’s side kick. Kenta is a lot like kazu expect he doesn’t have the lame phrases. Kenta is more series, sensitive, and has a “little” more common sense. Kenta is the last to get his digimon; MarineAngemon. When the kids are just about to leave the digital world a digimon called MarineAngemon appears in kenta’s pocket with a Digivice. You could just see the joy on his face, he was so happy. Kenta seemed to have changed a lot when they got back to the real world. He was a little bit stronger and less of a chicken.

Jeri is the odd ball of the group. She always wanted to have a digimon and learn how to play the card game. One day when she was with calumon she got attack by a deva. Leomon appeared and later on after chasseing him for hours he became her partner. Jeri is the happy cheer-ish type girl. Always giggling n playing with her sock puppet. Jeri became very depressed when leomon died. Her mind got taken over by the d-reaper. She started to regret everything and she thought that lemon’s death was because of her not being strong enough. Lucky with the help of all her friends she seems her self in the end.

Suzie is the youngest of the group. Shes so playful, fun, and cheer full. She loves to play with terriermon and calls him "Miss Pretty Pants" .she knows he's not just a doll. Onday Susie was playing the park when she got transported to the digitalworld. There she meets Antylamon. There soon become very good friends. Later on Susie gets her digivice. She lives with her older brother hennery and 1 more older brother and 2 sister, also her parents. Susie loves to dress up dolls so once she gets her own digimon she’s very happy cus she has 2 digimon too dress up. She doesn’t like fighting she justs want to play all the time.

Next came "D-1 Tamers," where Ryo fought in a tournament against many other DigiDestined, and defeated them all. It was revealed that that tournament had been orchestrated by the Harmonious/ Sovereign Ones to train Ryo, in preparation for the return of Millenniummon. Millenniummon did indeed return, now in the form of Moon=Millenniummon, and, after a battle with Ryo, tore open a portal in time, and hurled himself and Ryo across history.
Ryo is beyond mature for his age. He is a calm person who is also very smart. Ryo is the legendary card player that even Ruki could never beat, and it is rumored that she only won the tournament that named her Digimon Queen because he disappeared. Ryo can get himself out of any big mess but sometimes isn’t that smart.They found Ryo in the Digitalworld but he goes home with the others for some strange reason. In the English dub it says that Ryo doesn’t know how he got to the digitalworld but he knows he’s there because of Cyberdra whom can’t be controlled easily.

Ai & Mako are impmons tamers. They known impmon for a long time but didn't actually get a Digivice until the end of the series. Ai & Mako used to fight a lot causing Impmon to leave. The 2 youngsters set aside there deferens’s hoping impmon would come back. Ai & Mako seems to love impmon very much, once Impmon returned they didn't want him to leave again. When impmon got hurt Ai & mako were very worried, A Digivice appeared right above them. The characters didn't show up much in the series so not much is none about them.
