1. Enter Flamedramon
Four years have passed. Back in the real world, TK and Kari meet three new Digidestined kids; Davis, Yolei and Cody. Meanwhile, in the Digiworld, a boy who calls himself the Digimon Emperor is hunting down Digimon and turning them into his evil slaves with his Dark Rings. Tai e-mails the kids in the real world to come for help. When they arrive, the Digimon Emperor sends Monochromon to attack them. Davis alleviates the problem by lifting the Digiegg of Courage, enabling Veemon to digivolve to Flamedramon and destroy the Dark Ring on Monochromon.

2. Digi-Team Complete
Davis and Veemon are captured by the Digimon Emperor. He has Davis's Digivice and D-Terminal, so Veemon can't Armor Digivolve. Yolei and Cody find two Digieggs (Love and Knowledge) and are introduced to their own Digimon, Hawkmon and Armadillomon. Both Hawkmon and Armadillomon Armor Digivolve to Halsemon and Digmon and come to Davis and Veemon's rescue. Both are freed as Veemon Armor Digivolve to Flamedramon and joins them to free Snimon, Mojyamon and Drimogemon from their Dark Rings.

3. A New Digitude
The kids see a news broadcast about Ken Ichijouji, a boy genius who won a computer programming contest. In the DIgiworld, the Digimon Emperor caputres Elecmon and tries to make him fight other Digimon. The Digidestined arrive in the Digital World and detect more Digieggs. The Digimon Emperor attacks and says that he is the only Digidestined. Meanwhile, TK and Kari find the Digieggs of Hope and Light and as they lift it, their Digivices mutates into D-3s and Gatomon and Patamon are able to Armor Digivolve to Nefetimon and Pegasusmon. Together they are able to defeat all the Tyrannomon and free all of them. Back in the real world, Izzy shows the Digidestined a map of the Digital World which shows black and white dots, the black ones indicates the areas under the Digimon Emperor's control with the help of tall black pillars while the white ones aren't. They realise that they must get back the areas under the Digimon Emperor's control.

4. Iron Veggiemon
The Digimon Emperor and his slaves capture a village where Gabumon and a tribe of Gazimon are living. Gabumon tries to help the Gazimon escape but was caught by RedVeggiemon, who knocked him out cold. Luckily, the DIgidestined detected his signal and come to the rescue. In the process, they discover a mysterious dark tower (called Control Spire) that holds the secret to the Dark Ring's pwer. Once the tower is destroyed, the Emperor's spell is broken. Back in the real world, Izzy determines that there is a large number of those Control Spires that needs to be destroyed.

5. Old Reliable
The kinds go to rescue Gomamon in the frozen wasteland of the Digital World. While there, they spot another Control Spire. They are met by the Digimon Emperor's slaves and must Armor Digivolve to defeat them and destroy the Control Spire. Davis and the rest was able to destroy the Control Spire which enables Gomamon to Digivolve to Ikkakumon and save the day.

6. Family Picnic
Mimi arrives from America for a visit and meets the new Digidestined, who decides to have a picnic in the Digital World. Both Mimi and Yolei got seperated from the rest when they are chasing a roll of sushi which was going down the hill. They wondered into a dark area which has a Control Spire. Suddenlt they are attacked a swamp of Ottamamon and Geckomon but Palmon manages to pull them to safety. Then they are attacked by the Roachmon brothers. Hawkmon Armor Digivolve to Halsemon and was able to make use of the Roachmon to destroy the Control Spire. With the Control Spire destroyed, Palmon digivolves to Togemon and sends the Roachmon brothers flying off. They get back to Davis and the rest and return to the real world together.

7. Guardian Angel
The Digidestined continue to destroy Control Spires throughout the Digital World. In one area, they are attacked by an army of Guardromon. Everyone is able to escape back to the real world, with the exception of Kari. Davis and TK decide they must go back and went back into the city to save Kari. They manage to find Kari and but then Andromon attacks, but Kari is able to trigger Andromon's memory of her and the rest of the Digidestined. Andromon returns to normal and destroys the Dark Ring on his neck as well as the Control Spire in the area.

8. Ken's Secret
Davis has a soccer match with another team, in which Ken, a very skilled player, is in it. Davis's team was beaten as he accidentally injures Ken on the knee during the match. Davis apologises to Ken after the match but Ken says that it's okay and asks for Davis's name. Cody discovers another Control Spire as they set out to the Digital World. The Digimon Emperor captures everyone but Davis and Veemon as he forces Davis to kneel down before him in order to save one of his friends before the rest are to be eaten up by Deltamon, in which Davis is unable to decide who to save. Then Digmon, Pegasusmon, Halsemon and Nefetimon come to the rescue, and Davis discovers that the "hostages' were actually Bakemon in disguise. The Digimon are able to destroy the Control Spire as Davis discovers that the Digimon Emperor has an injury on his knee, the same one during the soccer match and realises that the Digimon Emperor is actually Ken Ichijouji!

9. The Emperor's New Home
Ken runs away from home to stay in the Digital World. The Digidestined decide to go after him and are instantly attacked by Meramon. Ken attempts to capture Greymon, but Greymon digivolves into SkullGreymon and goes out of control, destroying the Control Spire and defeats the Meramon and the Dark Tyrannomon Ken summoned. SkullGreymon then collapses and reverts to Agumon before being captured by Ken.

10. The Captive Digimon
Everyone but Yolei goes to the Digital World to rescue Agumon. Meanwhile, the evil Digimon Emperor experiments on Agumon and in the process, creates the Dark Spiral. In the real world, Yolei receives word of Agumon's whereabouts and relays the message to the rest of the Digidestined. Wormmon sets Agumon free, but the Digimon Emperor recaptures him with the use of the Dark Spiral and dark digivolve him to MetalGreymon. He defeats the Digidestined before flying off. Tai blames himself for what happened to Agumon but Matt and Yolei help him realise that it wasn't his fault.

11. The Storm Of Friendship
While searching for Agumon, the Digidestined discovers a Digiegg with the Crest of Friendship engraved on it. Everyone tries to lift the Digiegg up but no one was able to. Then suddenly Ken arrive together with MetalGreymon and attacks them. But Flymon captures Patamon as the Digimon Emperor attempts to put a Dark Spiral on Patamon, but failed. They defeat Flymon and start to attack MetalGreymon. Flamedramon almost got hit by MetalGreymon many times but the rest of the Digimon manages to help him out. Davis, however, seem hesitant and unsure of what to do for fear of hurting Tai's Digimon. TK gets unhappy at Davis and tells him off that the Digimon are doing what they could while he's just standing there doing nothing. This sets Davis into thinking as he realises that he must defeat MetalGreymon in order to save Agumon. Then the Digiegg of Friendship comes to Davis as Veemon does a second Armor Digivolve to Raidramon and destroy the Dark Spiral on MetalGreymon with the help of Garurumon and Agumon is now back in safe hands.

12. The Good, The Bad, And the Digi
Receving a distress call from Biyomon, Sora and the rest find themselves in an old western town. They enter a saloon in which Starmon shows them his Dark Ring. The Digidestined tries to run away but was captured by Starmon and end up being thrown into prison. Then Deputymon decides to free the girls for a game of cards but not the guys because "boys cheat". Starmon finds out about it and challenges Deputymon to a duel. In the meantime Davis and Cody are able to get free and escape from the prison. Starmon defeats Deputymon but Flamedramon manages to defeat Starmon and the Control Spire in the area in the process.

13. His Master's Voice
Kari starts to have nightmares and is suddenly transported to a beach where she sees those Scubamon with Dark Spirals on them pleading for help. Kari frees them and Airdramon starts to attack. Kari calls out to TK and Gatomon and they see her in the sky and go through a gate to battle Airdramon. Pegasusmon destroys the Control Spire in the area, thus allowing Gatomon to digivolve to Angewomon. Angewomon then defeats Airdramon but suddenly the Scubamon turns all shadowy and want Kari to be their queen and fight the dark undersea master with them. Kari declines and they leave saying that their undersea master will come after them.

14. Samurai Of Sincerity
The Digidestined head off in search of a Digiegg which they discover on their D-3s when their hunger got the better of them. They find a diner and have a good meal, but when they are asked to pay the bill by Digitamamon, they realise they don't have any Digidollars with them. Digitamamon tells them that they are going to have to work it off, and Tk suddenly remembers that this is the same place that Joe and Matt were once forced to work. Thankfully, Mimi and Michael, a Digidestined from America, arrive to save the day as Michael helps them to pay for the meal. The group is then attacked by Gorillamon and Michael's Digimon, Betamon, digivolves to Seadramon to take out the Dark Spiral controlled Digimon. Digitamamon returns to sette the score with the group after having a Dark Spiral stuck in his shell. He pushes Mimi and this gets Yolei mad, which triggers the Digiegg of Sincerity and Hawkmon is able to Armor Digivolve to Shurimon and destroy the Dark Spiral in Digitamamon.

15. Big Trouble In Little Edo
The Digimon Emperor keeps advancing his emprie, putting up more Control Spires to take over the Digital World. The Digidestined decide to free some of the areas under the Digimon Emperor's control and end up in an old Japanese town from the Samurai age. There, they run into Ninjamon, who Shurimon faces off with in a battle of honor to find out who is the best ninja. the Digidestined run into Geckomon who are hiding underground when ShogunGeckomon is bound by a Dark Spiral. The Digidestined race out of their underground hideout and trick ShogunGeckomon into destroying the Control Spire to release the inhabitants from their Dark Rings. But it takes all of the Digidestined's Digimon to stop ShogunGeckomon and remove his Dark Spiral.

16. 20,000 Digi-Leagues Under The Sea
While searching for a Digiegg, the Digidestined run into MegaSeadramon who traps them inside an oil platform beneath the sea. Forced to seal the area they are in to stop the place from flooding due to MegaSeadramon's attack, they are placed with a dwindling air supply. An emergency pod allows one person to escape and the group volunteers Cody, who expressed his fear of water. Cody rushes to the real world to find Joe to help rescue the others with Ikkakumon, he manages to get Joe out of the classroom but had to lie in the process. While Cody is away, the others discover the Digiegg of Reliability and tell Cody to take it when he comes to rescue them. Cody doesn't want to take it, thinking he's not reliable, but Joe makes him realise that he is. Cody lifts the Digiegg up and Armadillomon Armor Digivolves to Submarimon and together with Ikkakumon, they managed to defeat MegaSeadramon.

17. Ghost Of A Chance
As the anniversary of the Digidestined's defeat of Myotismon approaches, the Odaiba television goes on the fritz with people seeing a ghost everywhere. When the whole team, old and new Digidestined combined, meet up, they talk about the anniversary. When the group goes to the television station, they find that the ghost is actually Wizardmon, the Digimon who sacrificed his life to save Kari and Gatomon from Myotismon's attack. He has been searching for Gatomon to tell her that "Kindness will release the Golden Radiance" and that "Kindness alone won't be able to defeat the darkness". He then disappears, leaving the Digidestined to their very confused thoughts.

18. Run, Yolie, Run!
Izzy and Cody discovers the Emperor's base, but when the Digidestined go back to attack it, there is nothing left but a crater. Yolei wants to prove herself and save the day by being the one who defeats the Digimon Emperor and rushes forward but her stubbornness gets Hawkmon hurt. Yolei, Hawkmon, Kari and Gatomon stay behind while the others go in search of where the base went. The Digimon Emperor, in the meantime, prepares his ultimate Digimon...Kimeramon!
(PS: The Digidestined decided to stay in the Digital World until the Digimon Emperor's base is destroyed, however, their concern is that their parents may find out that they are gone and worry about them. So all of them decides to go camping in which the older Digidestined, Tai, Matt and Izzy would really go camping while the new Digidestined went to the Digital World)

19. An Old Enemy Returns
TK, Cody, Kari, and Yolei go out in search of the Emperor’s Base. Cody finds an entrance underwater to his base. Meanwhile with the Digimon Emperor's plan nearly complete, he looks to finish his creation with the parts of even more powerful Digimon. As he investigates the sea, he discovers a dark whirlpool and gets to the center of it and finds Devimon, captures Devimon and adds his arms to his creation, finishing his blueprints and bring Kimeramon to life. The Digidestined prove to have little chance against the Digimon, until Davis discovers that the Digimon Emperor's base is running on the power of a Digiegg!

20. The Darkness Before Dawn
With the Kimeramon in his control, there is no stopping the Digimon Emperor now! He creats havoc by destroying towns with Kimeramon and follows his Digimon with his flying base, setting up Control Spires everywhere. The Digidestined decide they have to try to do something, and that is to infiltrate the Digimon Emperor's base. Unfortunately, Kimeramon proves to be too much for all of them, even when they attack together. Davis, however, unwilling to give up goes in search of something to help them stop Kimeramon. Wormmon helps Davis find the central power source of the Digimon Emperor's base...a Golden Digiegg with the Crest of Kindness on it. Davis takes the Digiegg and Veemon Golden Armor Digivolves to Magnamon.

21. The Crest Of Kindness
As Magnamon and Kimeramon duel, the Digidestined run into the Digimon Emperor, Ken, and Wormmon. They try to convince him of the fact that this isn't just a computer virtual reality, but that the Digital World is real and the Digimon are alive. Ken refuses to believe it and as his base goes down he escapes on the back of a Devidramon. Magnamon starts to tire as Kimeramon snags him in his SkullGreymon hand. When it looks like the end, Wormmon realise that it is up to him to save Ken from himself and the darkness that has been consuming him. Wormmon knocks Ken off into the sand and takes Devidramon to attack Kimeramon. No match for Kimeramon in his rookie form, Wormmon is easily beaten, but gives the remainer of his life energy to Magnamon, who reluctantly accepts it, only asking that Mangamon defeats Kimeramon for Ken. He does so, ann Ken starts to realise the friend that he has lost in Wormmon, who disintegrates. Ken abandons the Digimon Emperor clothing that he constructed, returning to the Ken that first found the Digital World, realisnig the errors of his way and starts sobbing. He leaves the Digital World sobbing as the Digidestined return to the real world.

22. Davis Cries Wolfmon
Determined to help the Digital World after the end of the Digimon Emperor's reign, the Digidestined head there and start rebuilding efforts. Every Digidestined heads to different areas of the Digital World and help the local Digimon, except for Davis who gets another idea that if he could get Veemon to Digivolve, Kari would like him more. He also tries to convinces Veemon and even goes as far as to set up traps and dangerous falls in an effort to force Veemon to reach the next level. But as he tries desperately, Veemon gets angered at Davis and starts chasing him for a little payback. That's when the real trouble begind and Veemon finds himself in a position in which Davis's life is truly in danger and he Digivolves to the next level, ExVeemon.

23. Genesis Of Evil
As Ken lays in bed and his parents worry, he realises that he's lost his heart and feels a great emptiness inside him. He doesn't know how or where to look for what feels misplaced and forgetten about. He recalls his childhood and how he lived in his brother Osamu's shadow constantly, wishing for his parent's love and appreciation and recognition; but they were too enthralled with having Ken's elder brother as a genius for a child. Ken wished his brother would just disappear, and one day he did just that...when he was killed in an car accident. Snatching the Digivice that had come out of his brother's computer before the accident, Ken went into the Digital World to lose himself there after receiving a strange e-mail. He followed the e-mail's directions and his Digivice was tainted with Darkness. He started to live like he was his brother, and his life quickly spun out of control. He then realised what he had to do after recognising how great a monster he has become. He went in search of Wormmon to rediscover his heart in Primary Village, Leafmon was reborn as Ken reclaimed his heart of Kindness.

Episode 24: If I Had A Tail Hammer
Ken finds a mysterious woman in his room, but she refuses to tell him who she is. Meanwhile the Digidestined seek to continue their cleanup efforts when Davis notices that Veemon can no longer Digivolve to ExVeemon. Thinking that he has forgotten now, Davis keeps an eye on him. while TK and Kari sneak off to see if Patamon and Gatomon can Digivolve. Finding thatr they can't, they begin to wonder if the Control Spire have somehow become active again. Cody and Armadillomon go underground for a digging errand when they run into Thundermon. Armadillomon Digivolves to the Champion level, Ankylomon, to protect Cody. As they reemerge from beneath the earth, everyone is amazed that Cody's Digimon had managed to digivolve. Just then, a strange new Digimon enters the fray with Thundermon and defeats the Digimon before landing next to Ken. Ken has been chasing after a mysterious woman, but just who is she?

Episode 25: Spirit Needle
The woman has been going around and casting some sort of spell on the Control Spires and turning them into Digimon. This time, she molds a Control Spire into the image of a Golemon and gives it instruction to destroy the dam and flood the city beneath. The Digidestined race to stop her, throwing everything they've got at the Digimon, but nothing seems to work. Ken shows up again and Wormmon digivolves into Stingmon, but even he can't seem to defeat Golemon by himself. Hawkmon digivolves to Aquilamon, and working with Stingmon, the two manage to destroy the Control Spire known as Golemon.

Episode 26: United We Stand
The Spider Woman, known as Arukenimon, is at it again. This time she transform a Control Spire into Minotarumon. Ordering it to attack the bridge the Digidestined just rebuilt, it proves to be an easy challenge for the Digidestined team. However, Izzy notices some massive explosions happening in another part of the Digital World. The children rush to where the Digimon Emperor's base fell and see it overloading. Davis gets the idea to call Ken to have him place his Crest of Kindness back wherehit belongs inside the base to stop the explosion. Ken arrives while the Digidestined fight Okuwamon. Ken says that he wants to do this alone and not hurt anyone else, but Davis slapped him and said that he doesn't have to face it alone. Then with their thoughts as one, ExVeemon and Stingmon DNA Digivolve into Paildramon.

Episode 27: Fusion Confusion
While Okuwamon and Paildramon battle, the Digidestined rush into the fallen base to try and stop the pending massive exlopsion. Davis and Ken work together to get to the center of the base where Ken climbs up and replaces his Crest, but the overloading continues! The Digidestined follow the power supply pipes back to its ource where they discover a gateway drawing on the power of darkness as a source of its energy. All looks impossible when paildramon finishes off Okuwamon and rushes in to lay waste to the reactor. The Digidestined escape and Izzy briefs them on how DNA Digivolution works and why the old Digidestined can't digivolve their Digimon to the Ultimate level anymore.

Episode 28: The Insect Master's Trap
Arukenimon has had enough of the Digidestined, so she plans the perfect trap. The Digidestined, knowing it's a trap, consider it their best opportunity to take her out once and for all. However, as the approach the Giga House, a house that makes them look as small as an ant, they are soon swarmed by hundreds of insectoid Digimon. Roachmon, Flymon, Snimon are just some of the many Digimon that seem to have infested this house. While the Digidestined got seperated, Davis, Ken, and Cody discover Arukenimon playing a flute in a room all alone. She laughs at them as her fluke's song takes control of Stingmon and Digmon as they turn out against ExVeemon. All looks bad, but then it gets worse as Digmon cracks the floor right out from under the three. The Digidestined then discover that they are trapped in a large spider web belonging to a hungry Dokugumon.

Episode 29: Arukenimon's Tangled Web
With Davis, Cody and Ken trapped in a web, they try desperately to call the others for help, but they too are trapped by the swarm of Digimon. With Dokugumon crawling closer, Cody notices an air-conditioner. With Ken and Davis working together, they perform a perfect soccer assist and mamanges to switch on the air-conditioner, blowing Dokugumon away. locking themselves in the safety of a drawer, they get the idea to create a counter-song against Arukenimon's flute. Yolei joins TK and Kari as they start up the computer, using a sound program to sample and invert the sound waves. They disrupt Arukenimon's song, and in anger she shows her true form as a Digimon. The Digidestined take the opportunity to defeat her, except they didn't count on Mummymon rescuing her at the last second.

Episode 30: Ultimate Anti-Hero
With Mummymon assiting Arukenimon, the two devise a plan to create the ultimate Digimpon with 100 Control Spires. While the Digidestined destroy rows of Control Spires, Cody and Ken realise they just can't get along and Ken leaves the Digidestined once more. Ken is determined that if he isn't accepted, he won't stay where he isn't wanted. Meanwhile, Arukenimon finds an area where they haven't started their destructive ways and creates BlackWarGreymon. The Mega-level Digimon swiftly defeats the Digidestined before abandoning his loyalty to Arukenimon. After all, she's so weak compared to him.

Episode 31: Opposites Attract
Kari and Yolei get separated from the rest of the group while they search for Gatomon’s Tail Ring, which Gatomon says may help her become stronger. While doing so, Kari hears Ken scream in the forest. They run to catch up with him, and shortly find themselves walking straight into a phase warp to the Darkness Dimension. Davis thinks he hears them call for help, but simply walks right through Kari. The three soon find themselves once again on the beach of the Dark Ocean where Kari had been once before. She realise by the way Ken is acting that he too has been to this same shore as Ken remembers dipping his Digivice into these waters. Arukenimon sees her chance and sends Blossomon to attack them, but Yolei snaps Kari out of her fear with a slap and their Digimon DNA Digivolve into Silphymon as Silphymon defeats Blossomon easily.

Episode 32: If I Had A Heart
Arukenimon and Mummymon seek out the Destiny Stone, hoping the legends are true of its existence. When they find it, they create Knightmon who begins to attack it. The Digidestined arrive to try to stop its destruction and Arukenimon and Mummymon join the battle. Knightmon manages to break one of its seals, causing BlackWarGreymon, who was talking with Agumon peacefully, a great deal of pain. He takes off suddenly, leaving Agumon to wonder what is going on. BlackWarGreymon arrives at the battle scene while Arukenimon and Mummymon run away. He destroys Knightmon, making the Digidestined wonder whose side he is on. But before they have a chance to ask, he turns on them and defeats all their Digimon causing them to de-digivolve. He then turns on the Destiny Stone, destroying it. The Digidestined had no choice but to evacuate the area. A great catastrophe is supposed to fall upon the Digital World when the Destiny Stones are destroyed according to its prophecy…

Episode 33: A Chance Encounter
Yolei and her class travel to Kyoto, one of the holy cities in Japan. Kyoto is considered to be deeply in touch with the spiritual world, where legends of Kitsune, the Four Guardians, and others exist. Yolei meets Sora’s Dad and Joe’s elder brother who have been studying Digimon and believe that Kyoto is as close to the Digital World as you can get in the real world. They might be right as Yolei finds BlackWarGreymon and some minions with him traveling through the city. She fights off Apemon and Musyamon before the rest of the Digimon, including BlackWarGreymon suddenly disappear.

Episode 34: Destiny In Doubt
BlackWarGreymon continues his assult on the Destiny Stones while the Digidestined try to stop him. Angemon digivolves into MagnaAngemon when he comes into contact with a Destiny Stone and creates a Gate of Destiny to try to force BlackWarGreymon into it and seal him away for good. However, BlackWarGreymon destroys the Destiny Stone before he gets sucked in and in the process causes MagnaAngemon to revert back to Patamon. The gate closes and BlackWarGreymon leaves to find the next Destiny stone after noticing a strange Digimon in the sky. It’s Seiyuu, the Guardian of the East!

Episode 35:
With only three Destiny Stones remaining, the Digidestined decide to try to beat BlackWarGreymon to the punch and hide the Destiny Stone after finding it first. Unforunately, he senses where it is hidden and destroys it easily. Disillusioned, the Digidestined return to the real world and Davis encourages them not to give up hope. Davis, Kari, Ken and Yolei all gather for a meeting to decide how best to proceed while Cody seeks out TK’s older brother, Matt, to find out why TK gets so angry over the power of Darkness. Cody learns of TK’s battle with Devimon and develops an understanding of his emotions. Going back to the Digital World, the Digidestined find the next Destiny Stone. Ikkakumon, Submarimon, MegaSeadramon, Dolphmon, Paildramon and Silphymon all prepare themselves to defend the Destiny Stone; and they believe they are successful in stopping BlackWarGreymon…for a moment. He quickly sets the sea apart to uncover the stone, but Cody stands between him and the stone, pleading for his heart to listen. Cdoy gets rescued just before BlackWarGreymon would destroy him, and then turns on the Destiny Stone and finishes it instead, only one more exists!

Episode 36: Stone Soup
With only one Destiny Stone left, the Digidestined are faced with the huge task of tracking it down and protecting it from the dark menace of BlackWarGreymon. As they search through a town, they run into a delectable aroma emanating from a nearby restaurant and decide they will go inside for some soup. Inside, they run into Arukenimon and Mummymon, who have already been eating the soup, and a battle is about to begin when the two realise they can’t Digivolvce and so the battle is skipped…for now. Smelling the same sweet aroma in the forest, Mummyomn finds a small pond of the broth used in the soup. Inside it, the Destiny Stone lifts into the air. When the protective ring slides off its surface, the Digidestined and BlackWarGreymon arrive on the scene, the situation grows more tense. But thankfully, the food seem to help Cody and TK as their Digimon DNA Digivolve to Shakkoumon.

Episode 37: Kyoto Dragon
With BlackWarGreymon temporarily stopped short of destroying the last Destiny Stone, the Digidestibed turn to face the Destiny Stone and do the only thing they can think of to save it…try to move it out of harm’s way using their D-3s. Instead, however, the light from their Digivices affects the Destiny Stone in a special way, summoning Azulongmon, the Digimon equivalent of the Earth Dragon, Seiyuu. Just like Seiyuu protects Kyoto and the real world, Azulongmon protects the Digital World. BlackWarGreymon faces Azulongmon, but Azulongmon simply brushes him off without breaking a sweat. He informs BlackWarGreymon that he has a purpose and a Destiny, but it isn’t the destruction of the Destiny Stones or to combat him. He leaves in a huff, determined to yet find his purpose of living. Azulongmon turns to the Digidestined and shares his wisdom with them and the fact that the Control Spires’ purpose is to bind him and disturb the balance that he protects. The Digidestined are now even more determined to make sure the last of the Control Spires fall.

Episode 38: A Very Digi-Christmas
While the Digidestined destroy Control Spires in the Digital World, Arukenimon and Mummymon appear to be working on some new master plan. Ken decides to hold a Christmas party, to actually invite his new friends, he grows shy and uncertain if he can go through with it. But Davis reassures him, and Ken seems glad and honored that his friends do want to join him during the holidays. Ken approaches Cody, and the tense relationsip they have relaxes a little as each of them look at each other as the invitation is extended and Cody accepts. The new Digidestined decide to surprise the old Digidestined with the perfect Christmas present for each of them…their Digimon pals in the real world. Needless to say, all of them are overly excited by this gift. Meanwhile, a new enemy appears, speaking with TK’s mother and telling her that he’s been watching the Digidestined since their very first encounter with Digimon, four years ago!

Episode 39: Dramon Power
Control Spires suddenly appear everywhere and both the real world and the Digital World are in great danger. The Digidestined were to assemble at Izzy’s place, but Davis decided to help Ken but they runs into Triceramon. They are having trouble with Triceramon due to some help from Mummymon. Gennai comes back to the real world and brings one of the Digicores with him. With the power of the Digicore released, Paildramon is able to Digivolve to his Mega form, Impoeriladramon. Imperialdramon defeats Triceramon easily as they go around Japan to destroy all the Control Spires. Gennai then tells them that they have to go around the world with Imperialdramon to destroy all the Control Spires and return the Digimon back to the Digital World.

Episode 40: Digimon World Tour Part 1
First, Ken, Matt, and Davis were dropped off in Miami, but Ken and Matt took the helicopter to Mexico. Davis meets up with Michael and they took a jet to New York. They meet up with Mimi in Central Park and everyone was gathering there. All of the Digidestined from America came and gathered the lost Digimon at the park to transport them back to the Digital World. A couple of the Digidestibned has problem handling Cherrymon as Davis, Mimi, and Michael came to the rescue. They are able to transpor the Digimon back to the Digital World. On the other hand, Kari and Izzy travel to Hong Kong to meet up with the Digidestined, the Hoi Brothers, there. After that, they went to help an Indian girl who tried to cross the India-Chiba border to get the Digimon back to the Digital World safely.

Episode 41: Digimon World Tour Part 2
Joe and Cody go to Australia and destroy all of the Control Spires. They encounter a Santa Clause, but he turns out to another “Gennai lookalike” and together, they fight against the Digimon who are confused and lost. They also meet a few more Digidestined. Tai and TK travel to Paris and they got lost. TK asks his grandfather to come and help them. When TK’s grandfather came, they rode on a motorcycle and stopped in front of the versaille gate. TK’s grandfather demanded to go in and investigate the reason why there are no guards in front of the gates, and that the gates are widely open. They sneaked in and saw the Mamemon Brothers, who has held Catherine, and her Digimon, Floramon, captive. Together with the help of Kiwimon, MetalGreymon and MagnaAngemon, they manage to send the Mamemon back to the Digital World.

Episode 42: Digimon World Tour Part 3
Ken and Marr chased some escaped Digimon into a Mayan ruin in Mexico. In the dark tunnel the two met up with Gotsumon and Rosa. The girl took one look at Ken and immediately have a particular affection for him. Wormmon feels protective of Ken and revolted against Rosa and a battle breaks out between them. Meanwhile in Russia, Yolei and Sora are having difficulties communicating with the local Digidestined. However, they manage to create their own language and together, they battle and defeat the Digimon. Then Illya (one of the Gennai clones) tells them that they need to go to Siberia. The girls were ratherv weak from hunger so they had trouble fighting but Imperialdramon comes to send the Digimon back.

Episode 43: Invasion of the Daemon Corps
The Digidestined return to Japan after returning most of the Digimon to the Digital World. Insteadof returining to a peaceful Japan, they return to find Japan in chaos. One by one, all the children in Tokyo are disappearing. Ken senses an evil force behind this and it reminded him of distant memories. As if his own fears were answered, evil Digimon such as MarineDevimon, LadyDevimon, and SkullSatamon led by Daemon begin to invade the real world. Frightened of the shadow of drakness that haunted him, Ken joined up with Davis, intending to rescue everyone. But not even Imperialdramon could defeat them…mainly because his data is frozen. The rest of the Digidestined give their powers to Imperialdramon and he Mode Changes to Imperialdramon Fighter Mode, defeating SkullSatamon.

Episode 44: Dark Sun, Dark Seed
Daemon’s corps attack a peaceful city out of nowhere, Paildramon had to Mode Change to Fighter Mode, but had to destroy a Digimon in the process. This loss weighed down on the Digidestined’s hearts. Just when things look like they couldn’t get any worse, Arukenimon appeared with the missing children as hostages and demands Ken to go with her. Wanting to save Ken, Davis follows after the truck on Raidramon. Also after Ken, Daemon’s corps destroy the city without mercy. Ken learns more about his past, Oikawa and the Dark Spores as Oikawa made copies of the Dark Spore inside him and transfers it to the kids, who said they wanted to be super smart and great at sports just like Ken is. Meanwhile Oikawa’s truck is still being followed closely by Davis when suddenly Daemon appears right in front of the truck!

Episode 45: The Dark Gate
Oikawa, having made copies of the Dark Spore within Ken, was willing to hand him over to Daemon. Davis takes this chance and rescues Ken, but Arukenimon and the rest got away with the children. Davis tries as hard as he could, with Cody and Yolei joining in too, to fight off Daemon. But even Imperialdramon and all their powers combined are unable to defeat the darkest Digimon. Ken realise that they can seal him in the Dark Ocean so he won’t be able to come back. So he tried to remember his dark past but it wasn’t enough so his friends help him and together Ken is able to open the Dark Gate and Daemon is forced into the World of Darkness.

Episode 46: Duel of the WarGreymon
In the meantime the Dark Spores have been growing inside the children. The worried faces of the parents of the kidnapped children change, as they are now pleased to see their children again. The children now display high intelligence and a genius IQ. Davis and the others know what will happen if the seeds stayed within them. They try to contact each of their homes in order to save them, but the parents either don’t believe them or don’t care. Also, Agumon tells the Digidestined that BlackWarGreymon has entered the Real World. BlackWarGreymon searches for Oikawa for his purpose, knowing he was created by Oikawa and wants to kill him. But Agumon warp-digivolve to WarGreymon and stops him. They started to fight and Imperialdramon came in when all of them release their most powerful attack, knocking all of them out. The Digimon ask BlackWarGreymon about his Destiny and whether he wants to be their friend. BlackWarGreymon leaves trying sort out what happened.

Episode 47: BlackWarGreymon’s Destiny
Ken and the others try once again to persuade the children, but they were fascinated by the powers of the Dark Spore and coldly rebuffed Ken’s frantic attempts to win them over. One of the children, a girl named Noriko, has her seed ready to be harvested. Oikawa arrive with the others, including BlackWarGreymon and Cody’s grandfather. Oikawa absorbs the energy from the Dark Spore as Noriko collapses. Oikawa and Cody’s grandfather then talk about the past when they were both friends. He tries to kill Cody’s grandfather but BlackWarGreymon took the hit instead. Knowing that he was fatally wounded, BlackWarGreymon sealed the Digi-Gate at Hight View Terrace with the rest of his remaining energy.

Episode 48: Oikawa’s Shame
Using the powers of the Dark Spores, Oikawa is going to make his long awaited dream of going to the Digital World come true. The Digidestined and the rest keep a close eye on Oikawa and the rest when the kids and Oikawa sing a very weird song as the Digital Gate opens right in front of their eyes. The new Digidestined rush inside the Gate as it closes, but they find out it’s actually not the Digital World, but rather a world in which their desires come true. Then Oikawa reveals his true form as MaloMyotismon. Myotismon had possessed him 4 years ago and this was his true form. He gets rid of Arukenimon and Mummymon easily as the kids watch in horror and stay where they are until Davis and Veemon steps into the battle.

Episode 49: Last Temptation of the Digidestined
At last the final enemy, MaloMyotsimon, showed himself. The children were unable to move in the face of this extreme cruelty and overwhelming terror. Only Davis did not falter before MaloMyotismon, and stood alone to face him. Unaffected by the air of despair, and believing in himself and ExVeemon, Davis fights on. These feelings give ExVeemon strength and he was finally able to damage MaloMyotismon. But just they are about to defeat MaloMyotismon, he sends out a dazzling light that surround the Digidestined. In the midst of the light, the children lost consciousness. When they open their eyes, what awaited them are scenes from the desires deep within their hearts. Will they end up throwing away their courage to fight on in the face of this desparate situation?

Episode 50: A Million Points of Lights
Davis, Veemon, and his evolutions appear before the Digidestined in their minds as they realise that it’s just a dream and wakes them up. Using their strong emotions for strength, the Digidestined enable their Digimon to Digivolve and because they are in a different world, all of the Digimon’s evolutions could be reached separately. With the sheer amounts of attacks that MaloMyotismon received, MaloMyotismon is close to the edge of defeat. But then he escapes to the Digital World through a tear in the dimension. The Digidestined follows MaloMyotismon as they discover that the Digimon disappear except for Imperialdramon Fighter Mode, Silphymon and Shakkoumon. Absorbing the Digital World’s power of darkness, MaloMyotismon tries to cover both the real world and the Digital World in an attempt to rule over both the worlds. Suddenly light shines from the Digivices of all the DigiDestineds all over the world, surrounding their partner Digimon. With the surrounding light, and the dreams and hopes of the children, MaloMyotsimon slowly dissolves until his spirit is left. Imperialdramon Fighter Mode then uses his Positron Laser to blast through MaloMyotismon’s spirit, permanently destroying him for good.

1. Enter Flamedramon
Four years have passed. Back in the real world, TK and Kari meet three new Digidestined kids; Davis, Yolei and Cody. Meanwhile, in the Digiworld, a boy who calls himself the Digimon Emperor is hunting down Digimon and turning them into his evil slaves with his Dark Rings. Tai e-mails the kids in the real world to come for help. When they arrive, the Digimon Emperor sends Monochromon to attack them. Davis alleviates the problem by lifting the Digiegg of Courage, enabling Veemon to digivolve to Flamedramon and destroy the Dark Ring on Monochromon.

2. Digi-Team Complete
Davis and Veemon are captured by the Digimon Emperor. He has Davis's Digivice and D-Terminal, so Veemon can't Armor Digivolve. Yolei and Cody find two Digieggs (Love and Knowledge) and are introduced to their own Digimon, Hawkmon and Armadillomon. Both Hawkmon and Armadillomon Armor Digivolve to Halsemon and Digmon and come to Davis and Veemon's rescue. Both are freed as Veemon Armor Digivolve to Flamedramon and joins them to free Snimon, Mojyamon and Drimogemon from their Dark Rings.

3. A New Digitude
The kids see a news broadcast about Ken Ichijouji, a boy genius who won a computer programming contest. In the DIgiworld, the Digimon Emperor caputres Elecmon and tries to make him fight other Digimon. The Digidestined arrive in the Digital World and detect more Digieggs. The Digimon Emperor attacks and says that he is the only Digidestined. Meanwhile, TK and Kari find the Digieggs of Hope and Light and as they lift it, their Digivices mutates into D-3s and Gatomon and Patamon are able to Armor Digivolve to Nefetimon and Pegasusmon. Together they are able to defeat all the Tyrannomon and free all of them. Back in the real world, Izzy shows the Digidestined a map of the Digital World which shows black and white dots, the black ones indicates the areas under the Digimon Emperor's control with the help of tall black pillars while the white ones aren't. They realise that they must get back the areas under the Digimon Emperor's control.

4. Iron Veggiemon
The Digimon Emperor and his slaves capture a village where Gabumon and a tribe of Gazimon are living. Gabumon tries to help the Gazimon escape but was caught by RedVeggiemon, who knocked him out cold. Luckily, the DIgidestined detected his signal and come to the rescue. In the process, they discover a mysterious dark tower (called Control Spire) that holds the secret to the Dark Ring's pwer. Once the tower is destroyed, the Emperor's spell is broken. Back in the real world, Izzy determines that there is a large number of those Control Spires that needs to be destroyed.

5. Old Reliable
The kinds go to rescue Gomamon in the frozen wasteland of the Digital World. While there, they spot another Control Spire. They are met by the Digimon Emperor's slaves and must Armor Digivolve to defeat them and destroy the Control Spire. Davis and the rest was able to destroy the Control Spire which enables Gomamon to Digivolve to Ikkakumon and save the day.

6. Family Picnic
Mimi arrives from America for a visit and meets the new Digidestined, who decides to have a picnic in the Digital World. Both Mimi and Yolei got seperated from the rest when they are chasing a roll of sushi which was going down the hill. They wondered into a dark area which has a Control Spire. Suddenlt they are attacked a swamp of Ottamamon and Geckomon but Palmon manages to pull them to safety. Then they are attacked by the Roachmon brothers. Hawkmon Armor Digivolve to Halsemon and was able to make use of the Roachmon to destroy the Control Spire. With the Control Spire destroyed, Palmon digivolves to Togemon and sends the Roachmon brothers flying off. They get back to Davis and the rest and return to the real world together.

7. Guardian Angel
The Digidestined continue to destroy Control Spires throughout the Digital World. In one area, they are attacked by an army of Guardromon. Everyone is able to escape back to the real world, with the exception of Kari. Davis and TK decide they must go back and went back into the city to save Kari. They manage to find Kari and but then Andromon attacks, but Kari is able to trigger Andromon's memory of her and the rest of the Digidestined. Andromon returns to normal and destroys the Dark Ring on his neck as well as the Control Spire in the area.

8. Ken's Secret
Davis has a soccer match with another team, in which Ken, a very skilled player, is in it. Davis's team was beaten as he accidentally injures Ken on the knee during the match. Davis apologises to Ken after the match but Ken says that it's okay and asks for Davis's name. Cody discovers another Control Spire as they set out to the Digital World. The Digimon Emperor captures everyone but Davis and Veemon as he forces Davis to kneel down before him in order to save one of his friends before the rest are to be eaten up by Deltamon, in which Davis is unable to decide who to save. Then Digmon, Pegasusmon, Halsemon and Nefetimon come to the rescue, and Davis discovers that the "hostages' were actually Bakemon in disguise. The Digimon are able to destroy the Control Spire as Davis discovers that the Digimon Emperor has an injury on his knee, the same one during the soccer match and realises that the Digimon Emperor is actually Ken Ichijouji!

9. The Emperor's New Home
Ken runs away from home to stay in the Digital World. The Digidestined decide to go after him and are instantly attacked by Meramon. Ken attempts to capture Greymon, but Greymon digivolves into SkullGreymon and goes out of control, destroying the Control Spire and defeats the Meramon and the Dark Tyrannomon Ken summoned. SkullGreymon then collapses and reverts to Agumon before being captured by Ken.

10. The Captive Digimon
Everyone but Yolei goes to the Digital World to rescue Agumon. Meanwhile, the evil Digimon Emperor experiments on Agumon and in the process, creates the Dark Spiral. In the real world, Yolei receives word of Agumon's whereabouts and relays the message to the rest of the Digidestined. Wormmon sets Agumon free, but the Digimon Emperor recaptures him with the use of the Dark Spiral and dark digivolve him to MetalGreymon. He defeats the Digidestined before flying off. Tai blames himself for what happened to Agumon but Matt and Yolei help him realise that it wasn't his fault.

11. The Storm Of Friendship
While searching for Agumon, the Digidestined discovers a Digiegg with the Crest of Friendship engraved on it. Everyone tries to lift the Digiegg up but no one was able to. Then suddenly Ken arrive together with MetalGreymon and attacks them. But Flymon captures Patamon as the Digimon Emperor attempts to put a Dark Spiral on Patamon, but failed. They defeat Flymon and start to attack MetalGreymon. Flamedramon almost got hit by MetalGreymon many times but the rest of the Digimon manages to help him out. Davis, however, seem hesitant and unsure of what to do for fear of hurting Tai's Digimon. TK gets unhappy at Davis and tells him off that the Digimon are doing what they could while he's just standing there doing nothing. This sets Davis into thinking as he realises that he must defeat MetalGreymon in order to save Agumon. Then the Digiegg of Friendship comes to Davis as Veemon does a second Armor Digivolve to Raidramon and destroy the Dark Spiral on MetalGreymon with the help of Garurumon and Agumon is now back in safe hands.

12. The Good, The Bad, And the Digi
Receving a distress call from Biyomon, Sora and the rest find themselves in an old western town. They enter a saloon in which Starmon shows them his Dark Ring. The Digidestined tries to run away but was captured by Starmon and end up being thrown into prison. Then Deputymon decides to free the girls for a game of cards but not the guys because "boys cheat". Starmon finds out about it and challenges Deputymon to a duel. In the meantime Davis and Cody are able to get free and escape from the prison. Starmon defeats Deputymon but Flamedramon manages to defeat Starmon and the Control Spire in the area in the process.

13. His Master's Voice
Kari starts to have nightmares and is suddenly transported to a beach where she sees those Scubamon with Dark Spirals on them pleading for help. Kari frees them and Airdramon starts to attack. Kari calls out to TK and Gatomon and they see her in the sky and go through a gate to battle Airdramon. Pegasusmon destroys the Control Spire in the area, thus allowing Gatomon to digivolve to Angewomon. Angewomon then defeats Airdramon but suddenly the Scubamon turns all shadowy and want Kari to be their queen and fight the dark undersea master with them. Kari declines and they leave saying that their undersea master will come after them.

14. Samurai Of Sincerity
The Digidestined head off in search of a Digiegg which they discover on their D-3s when their hunger got the better of them. They find a diner and have a good meal, but when they are asked to pay the bill by Digitamamon, they realise they don't have any Digidollars with them. Digitamamon tells them that they are going to have to work it off, and Tk suddenly remembers that this is the same place that Joe and Matt were once forced to work. Thankfully, Mimi and Michael, a Digidestined from America, arrive to save the day as Michael helps them to pay for the meal. The group is then attacked by Gorillamon and Michael's Digimon, Betamon, digivolves to Seadramon to take out the Dark Spiral controlled Digimon. Digitamamon returns to sette the score with the group after having a Dark Spiral stuck in his shell. He pushes Mimi and this gets Yolei mad, which triggers the Digiegg of Sincerity and Hawkmon is able to Armor Digivolve to Shurimon and destroy the Dark Spiral in Digitamamon.

15. Big Trouble In Little Edo
The Digimon Emperor keeps advancing his emprie, putting up more Control Spires to take over the Digital World. The Digidestined decide to free some of the areas under the Digimon Emperor's control and end up in an old Japanese town from the Samurai age. There, they run into Ninjamon, who Shurimon faces off with in a battle of honor to find out who is the best ninja. the Digidestined run into Geckomon who are hiding underground when ShogunGeckomon is bound by a Dark Spiral. The Digidestined race out of their underground hideout and trick ShogunGeckomon into destroying the Control Spire to release the inhabitants from their Dark Rings. But it takes all of the Digidestined's Digimon to stop ShogunGeckomon and remove his Dark Spiral.

16. 20,000 Digi-Leagues Under The Sea
While searching for a Digiegg, the Digidestined run into MegaSeadramon who traps them inside an oil platform beneath the sea. Forced to seal the area they are in to stop the place from flooding due to MegaSeadramon's attack, they are placed with a dwindling air supply. An emergency pod allows one person to escape and the group volunteers Cody, who expressed his fear of water. Cody rushes to the real world to find Joe to help rescue the others with Ikkakumon, he manages to get Joe out of the classroom but had to lie in the process. While Cody is away, the others discover the Digiegg of Reliability and tell Cody to take it when he comes to rescue them. Cody doesn't want to take it, thinking he's not reliable, but Joe makes him realise that he is. Cody lifts the Digiegg up and Armadillomon Armor Digivolves to Submarimon and together with Ikkakumon, they managed to defeat MegaSeadramon.

17. Ghost Of A Chance
As the anniversary of the Digidestined's defeat of Myotismon approaches, the Odaiba television goes on the fritz with people seeing a ghost everywhere. When the whole team, old and new Digidestined combined, meet up, they talk about the anniversary. When the group goes to the television station, they find that the ghost is actually Wizardmon, the Digimon who sacrificed his life to save Kari and Gatomon from Myotismon's attack. He has been searching for Gatomon to tell her that "Kindness will release the Golden Radiance" and that "Kindness alone won't be able to defeat the darkness". He then disappears, leaving the Digidestined to their very confused thoughts.

18. Run, Yolie, Run!
Izzy and Cody discovers the Emperor's base, but when the Digidestined go back to attack it, there is nothing left but a crater. Yolei wants to prove herself and save the day by being the one who defeats the Digimon Emperor and rushes forward but her stubbornness gets Hawkmon hurt. Yolei, Hawkmon, Kari and Gatomon stay behind while the others go in search of where the base went. The Digimon Emperor, in the meantime, prepares his ultimate Digimon...Kimeramon!
(PS: The Digidestined decided to stay in the Digital World until the Digimon Emperor's base is destroyed, however, their concern is that their parents may find out that they are gone and worry about them. So all of them decides to go camping in which the older Digidestined, Tai, Matt and Izzy would really go camping while the new Digidestined went to the Digital World)

19. An Old Enemy Returns
TK, Cody, Kari, and Yolei go out in search of the Emperor’s Base. Cody finds an entrance underwater to his base. Meanwhile with the Digimon Emperor's plan nearly complete, he looks to finish his creation with the parts of even more powerful Digimon. As he investigates the sea, he discovers a dark whirlpool and gets to the center of it and finds Devimon, captures Devimon and adds his arms to his creation, finishing his blueprints and bring Kimeramon to life. The Digidestined prove to have little chance against the Digimon, until Davis discovers that the Digimon Emperor's base is running on the power of a Digiegg!

20. The Darkness Before Dawn
With the Kimeramon in his control, there is no stopping the Digimon Emperor now! He creats havoc by destroying towns with Kimeramon and follows his Digimon with his flying base, setting up Control Spires everywhere. The Digidestined decide they have to try to do something, and that is to infiltrate the Digimon Emperor's base. Unfortunately, Kimeramon proves to be too much for all of them, even when they attack together. Davis, however, unwilling to give up goes in search of something to help them stop Kimeramon. Wormmon helps Davis find the central power source of the Digimon Emperor's base...a Golden Digiegg with the Crest of Kindness on it. Davis takes the Digiegg and Veemon Golden Armor Digivolves to Magnamon.

21. The Crest Of Kindness
As Magnamon and Kimeramon duel, the Digidestined run into the Digimon Emperor, Ken, and Wormmon. They try to convince him of the fact that this isn't just a computer virtual reality, but that the Digital World is real and the Digimon are alive. Ken refuses to believe it and as his base goes down he escapes on the back of a Devidramon. Magnamon starts to tire as Kimeramon snags him in his SkullGreymon hand. When it looks like the end, Wormmon realise that it is up to him to save Ken from himself and the darkness that has been consuming him. Wormmon knocks Ken off into the sand and takes Devidramon to attack Kimeramon. No match for Kimeramon in his rookie form, Wormmon is easily beaten, but gives the remainer of his life energy to Magnamon, who reluctantly accepts it, only asking that Mangamon defeats Kimeramon for Ken. He does so, ann Ken starts to realise the friend that he has lost in Wormmon, who disintegrates. Ken abandons the Digimon Emperor clothing that he constructed, returning to the Ken that first found the Digital World, realisnig the errors of his way and starts sobbing. He leaves the Digital World sobbing as the Digidestined return to the real world.

22. Davis Cries Wolfmon
Determined to help the Digital World after the end of the Digimon Emperor's reign, the Digidestined head there and start rebuilding efforts. Every Digidestined heads to different areas of the Digital World and help the local Digimon, except for Davis who gets another idea that if he could get Veemon to Digivolve, Kari would like him more. He also tries to convinces Veemon and even goes as far as to set up traps and dangerous falls in an effort to force Veemon to reach the next level. But as he tries desperately, Veemon gets angered at Davis and starts chasing him for a little payback. That's when the real trouble begind and Veemon finds himself in a position in which Davis's life is truly in danger and he Digivolves to the next level, ExVeemon.

23. Genesis Of Evil
As Ken lays in bed and his parents worry, he realises that he's lost his heart and feels a great emptiness inside him. He doesn't know how or where to look for what feels misplaced and forgetten about. He recalls his childhood and how he lived in his brother Osamu's shadow constantly, wishing for his parent's love and appreciation and recognition; but they were too enthralled with having Ken's elder brother as a genius for a child. Ken wished his brother would just disappear, and one day he did just that...when he was killed in an car accident. Snatching the Digivice that had come out of his brother's computer before the accident, Ken went into the Digital World to lose himself there after receiving a strange e-mail. He followed the e-mail's directions and his Digivice was tainted with Darkness. He started to live like he was his brother, and his life quickly spun out of control. He then realised what he had to do after recognising how great a monster he has become. He went in search of Wormmon to rediscover his heart in Primary Village, Leafmon was reborn as Ken reclaimed his heart of Kindness.

Episode 24: If I Had A Tail Hammer
Ken finds a mysterious woman in his room, but she refuses to tell him who she is. Meanwhile the Digidestined seek to continue their cleanup efforts when Davis notices that Veemon can no longer Digivolve to ExVeemon. Thinking that he has forgotten now, Davis keeps an eye on him. while TK and Kari sneak off to see if Patamon and Gatomon can Digivolve. Finding thatr they can't, they begin to wonder if the Control Spire have somehow become active again. Cody and Armadillomon go underground for a digging errand when they run into Thundermon. Armadillomon Digivolves to the Champion level, Ankylomon, to protect Cody. As they reemerge from beneath the earth, everyone is amazed that Cody's Digimon had managed to digivolve. Just then, a strange new Digimon enters the fray with Thundermon and defeats the Digimon before landing next to Ken. Ken has been chasing after a mysterious woman, but just who is she?

Episode 25: Spirit Needle
The woman has been going around and casting some sort of spell on the Control Spires and turning them into Digimon. This time, she molds a Control Spire into the image of a Golemon and gives it instruction to destroy the dam and flood the city beneath. The Digidestined race to stop her, throwing everything they've got at the Digimon, but nothing seems to work. Ken shows up again and Wormmon digivolves into Stingmon, but even he can't seem to defeat Golemon by himself. Hawkmon digivolves to Aquilamon, and working with Stingmon, the two manage to destroy the Control Spire known as Golemon.

Episode 26: United We Stand
The Spider Woman, known as Arukenimon, is at it again. This time she transform a Control Spire into Minotarumon. Ordering it to attack the bridge the Digidestined just rebuilt, it proves to be an easy challenge for the Digidestined team. However, Izzy notices some massive explosions happening in another part of the Digital World. The children rush to where the Digimon Emperor's base fell and see it overloading. Davis gets the idea to call Ken to have him place his Crest of Kindness back wherehit belongs inside the base to stop the explosion. Ken arrives while the Digidestined fight Okuwamon. Ken says that he wants to do this alone and not hurt anyone else, but Davis slapped him and said that he doesn't have to face it alone. Then with their thoughts as one, ExVeemon and Stingmon DNA Digivolve into Paildramon.

Episode 27: Fusion Confusion
While Okuwamon and Paildramon battle, the Digidestined rush into the fallen base to try and stop the pending massive exlopsion. Davis and Ken work together to get to the center of the base where Ken climbs up and replaces his Crest, but the overloading continues! The Digidestined follow the power supply pipes back to its ource where they discover a gateway drawing on the power of darkness as a source of its energy. All looks impossible when paildramon finishes off Okuwamon and rushes in to lay waste to the reactor. The Digidestined escape and Izzy briefs them on how DNA Digivolution works and why the old Digidestined can't digivolve their Digimon to the Ultimate level anymore.

Episode 28: The Insect Master's Trap
Arukenimon has had enough of the Digidestined, so she plans the perfect trap. The Digidestined, knowing it's a trap, consider it their best opportunity to take her out once and for all. However, as the approach the Giga House, a house that makes them look as small as an ant, they are soon swarmed by hundreds of insectoid Digimon. Roachmon, Flymon, Snimon are just some of the many Digimon that seem to have infested this house. While the Digidestined got seperated, Davis, Ken, and Cody discover Arukenimon playing a flute in a room all alone. She laughs at them as her fluke's song takes control of Stingmon and Digmon as they turn out against ExVeemon. All looks bad, but then it gets worse as Digmon cracks the floor right out from under the three. The Digidestined then discover that they are trapped in a large spider web belonging to a hungry Dokugumon.

Episode 29: Arukenimon's Tangled Web
With Davis, Cody and Ken trapped in a web, they try desperately to call the others for help, but they too are trapped by the swarm of Digimon. With Dokugumon crawling closer, Cody notices an air-conditioner. With Ken and Davis working together, they perform a perfect soccer assist and mamanges to switch on the air-conditioner, blowing Dokugumon away. locking themselves in the safety of a drawer, they get the idea to create a counter-song against Arukenimon's flute. Yolei joins TK and Kari as they start up the computer, using a sound program to sample and invert the sound waves. They disrupt Arukenimon's song, and in anger she shows her true form as a Digimon. The Digidestined take the opportunity to defeat her, except they didn't count on Mummymon rescuing her at the last second.

Episode 30: Ultimate Anti-Hero
With Mummymon assiting Arukenimon, the two devise a plan to create the ultimate Digimpon with 100 Control Spires. While the Digidestined destroy rows of Control Spires, Cody and Ken realise they just can't get along and Ken leaves the Digidestined once more. Ken is determined that if he isn't accepted, he won't stay where he isn't wanted. Meanwhile, Arukenimon finds an area where they haven't started their destructive ways and creates BlackWarGreymon. The Mega-level Digimon swiftly defeats the Digidestined before abandoning his loyalty to Arukenimon. After all, she's so weak compared to him.

Episode 31: Opposites Attract
Kari and Yolei get separated from the rest of the group while they search for Gatomon’s Tail Ring, which Gatomon says may help her become stronger. While doing so, Kari hears Ken scream in the forest. They run to catch up with him, and shortly find themselves walking straight into a phase warp to the Darkness Dimension. Davis thinks he hears them call for help, but simply walks right through Kari. The three soon find themselves once again on the beach of the Dark Ocean where Kari had been once before. She realise by the way Ken is acting that he too has been to this same shore as Ken remembers dipping his Digivice into these waters. Arukenimon sees her chance and sends Blossomon to attack them, but Yolei snaps Kari out of her fear with a slap and their Digimon DNA Digivolve into Silphymon as Silphymon defeats Blossomon easily.

Episode 32: If I Had A Heart
Arukenimon and Mummymon seek out the Destiny Stone, hoping the legends are true of its existence. When they find it, they create Knightmon who begins to attack it. The Digidestined arrive to try to stop its destruction and Arukenimon and Mummymon join the battle. Knightmon manages to break one of its seals, causing BlackWarGreymon, who was talking with Agumon peacefully, a great deal of pain. He takes off suddenly, leaving Agumon to wonder what is going on. BlackWarGreymon arrives at the battle scene while Arukenimon and Mummymon run away. He destroys Knightmon, making the Digidestined wonder whose side he is on. But before they have a chance to ask, he turns on them and defeats all their Digimon causing them to de-digivolve. He then turns on the Destiny Stone, destroying it. The Digidestined had no choice but to evacuate the area. A great catastrophe is supposed to fall upon the Digital World when the Destiny Stones are destroyed according to its prophecy…

Episode 33: A Chance Encounter
Yolei and her class travel to Kyoto, one of the holy cities in Japan. Kyoto is considered to be deeply in touch with the spiritual world, where legends of Kitsune, the Four Guardians, and others exist. Yolei meets Sora’s Dad and Joe’s elder brother who have been studying Digimon and believe that Kyoto is as close to the Digital World as you can get in the real world. They might be right as Yolei finds BlackWarGreymon and some minions with him traveling through the city. She fights off Apemon and Musyamon before the rest of the Digimon, including BlackWarGreymon suddenly disappear.

Episode 34: Destiny In Doubt
BlackWarGreymon continues his assult on the Destiny Stones while the Digidestined try to stop him. Angemon digivolves into MagnaAngemon when he comes into contact with a Destiny Stone and creates a Gate of Destiny to try to force BlackWarGreymon into it and seal him away for good. However, BlackWarGreymon destroys the Destiny Stone before he gets sucked in and in the process causes MagnaAngemon to revert back to Patamon. The gate closes and BlackWarGreymon leaves to find the next Destiny stone after noticing a strange Digimon in the sky. It’s Seiyuu, the Guardian of the East!

Episode 35:
With only three Destiny Stones remaining, the Digidestined decide to try to beat BlackWarGreymon to the punch and hide the Destiny Stone after finding it first. Unforunately, he senses where it is hidden and destroys it easily. Disillusioned, the Digidestined return to the real world and Davis encourages them not to give up hope. Davis, Kari, Ken and Yolei all gather for a meeting to decide how best to proceed while Cody seeks out TK’s older brother, Matt, to find out why TK gets so angry over the power of Darkness. Cody learns of TK’s battle with Devimon and develops an understanding of his emotions. Going back to the Digital World, the Digidestined find the next Destiny Stone. Ikkakumon, Submarimon, MegaSeadramon, Dolphmon, Paildramon and Silphymon all prepare themselves to defend the Destiny Stone; and they believe they are successful in stopping BlackWarGreymon…for a moment. He quickly sets the sea apart to uncover the stone, but Cody stands between him and the stone, pleading for his heart to listen. Cdoy gets rescued just before BlackWarGreymon would destroy him, and then turns on the Destiny Stone and finishes it instead, only one more exists!

Episode 36: Stone Soup
With only one Destiny Stone left, the Digidestined are faced with the huge task of tracking it down and protecting it from the dark menace of BlackWarGreymon. As they search through a town, they run into a delectable aroma emanating from a nearby restaurant and decide they will go inside for some soup. Inside, they run into Arukenimon and Mummymon, who have already been eating the soup, and a battle is about to begin when the two realise they can’t Digivolvce and so the battle is skipped…for now. Smelling the same sweet aroma in the forest, Mummyomn finds a small pond of the broth used in the soup. Inside it, the Destiny Stone lifts into the air. When the protective ring slides off its surface, the Digidestined and BlackWarGreymon arrive on the scene, the situation grows more tense. But thankfully, the food seem to help Cody and TK as their Digimon DNA Digivolve to Shakkoumon.

Episode 37: Kyoto Dragon
With BlackWarGreymon temporarily stopped short of destroying the last Destiny Stone, the Digidestibed turn to face the Destiny Stone and do the only thing they can think of to save it…try to move it out of harm’s way using their D-3s. Instead, however, the light from their Digivices affects the Destiny Stone in a special way, summoning Azulongmon, the Digimon equivalent of the Earth Dragon, Seiyuu. Just like Seiyuu protects Kyoto and the real world, Azulongmon protects the Digital World. BlackWarGreymon faces Azulongmon, but Azulongmon simply brushes him off without breaking a sweat. He informs BlackWarGreymon that he has a purpose and a Destiny, but it isn’t the destruction of the Destiny Stones or to combat him. He leaves in a huff, determined to yet find his purpose of living. Azulongmon turns to the Digidestined and shares his wisdom with them and the fact that the Control Spires’ purpose is to bind him and disturb the balance that he protects. The Digidestined are now even more determined to make sure the last of the Control Spires fall.

Episode 38: A Very Digi-Christmas
While the Digidestined destroy Control Spires in the Digital World, Arukenimon and Mummymon appear to be working on some new master plan. Ken decides to hold a Christmas party, to actually invite his new friends, he grows shy and uncertain if he can go through with it. But Davis reassures him, and Ken seems glad and honored that his friends do want to join him during the holidays. Ken approaches Cody, and the tense relationsip they have relaxes a little as each of them look at each other as the invitation is extended and Cody accepts. The new Digidestined decide to surprise the old Digidestined with the perfect Christmas present for each of them…their Digimon pals in the real world. Needless to say, all of them are overly excited by this gift. Meanwhile, a new enemy appears, speaking with TK’s mother and telling her that he’s been watching the Digidestined since their very first encounter with Digimon, four years ago!

Episode 39: Dramon Power
Control Spires suddenly appear everywhere and both the real world and the Digital World are in great danger. The Digidestined were to assemble at Izzy’s place, but Davis decided to help Ken but they runs into Triceramon. They are having trouble with Triceramon due to some help from Mummymon. Gennai comes back to the real world and brings one of the Digicores with him. With the power of the Digicore released, Paildramon is able to Digivolve to his Mega form, Impoeriladramon. Imperialdramon defeats Triceramon easily as they go around Japan to destroy all the Control Spires. Gennai then tells them that they have to go around the world with Imperialdramon to destroy all the Control Spires and return the Digimon back to the Digital World.

Episode 40: Digimon World Tour Part 1
First, Ken, Matt, and Davis were dropped off in Miami, but Ken and Matt took the helicopter to Mexico. Davis meets up with Michael and they took a jet to New York. They meet up with Mimi in Central Park and everyone was gathering there. All of the Digidestined from America came and gathered the lost Digimon at the park to transport them back to the Digital World. A couple of the Digidestibned has problem handling Cherrymon as Davis, Mimi, and Michael came to the rescue. They are able to transpor the Digimon back to the Digital World. On the other hand, Kari and Izzy travel to Hong Kong to meet up with the Digidestined, the Hoi Brothers, there. After that, they went to help an Indian girl who tried to cross the India-Chiba border to get the Digimon back to the Digital World safely.

Episode 41: Digimon World Tour Part 2
Joe and Cody go to Australia and destroy all of the Control Spires. They encounter a Santa Clause, but he turns out to another “Gennai lookalike” and together, they fight against the Digimon who are confused and lost. They also meet a few more Digidestined. Tai and TK travel to Paris and they got lost. TK asks his grandfather to come and help them. When TK’s grandfather came, they rode on a motorcycle and stopped in front of the versaille gate. TK’s grandfather demanded to go in and investigate the reason why there are no guards in front of the gates, and that the gates are widely open. They sneaked in and saw the Mamemon Brothers, who has held Catherine, and her Digimon, Floramon, captive. Together with the help of Kiwimon, MetalGreymon and MagnaAngemon, they manage to send the Mamemon back to the Digital World.

Episode 42: Digimon World Tour Part 3
Ken and Marr chased some escaped Digimon into a Mayan ruin in Mexico. In the dark tunnel the two met up with Gotsumon and Rosa. The girl took one look at Ken and immediately have a particular affection for him. Wormmon feels protective of Ken and revolted against Rosa and a battle breaks out between them. Meanwhile in Russia, Yolei and Sora are having difficulties communicating with the local Digidestined. However, they manage to create their own language and together, they battle and defeat the Digimon. Then Illya (one of the Gennai clones) tells them that they need to go to Siberia. The girls were ratherv weak from hunger so they had trouble fighting but Imperialdramon comes to send the Digimon back.

Episode 43: Invasion of the Daemon Corps
The Digidestined return to Japan after returning most of the Digimon to the Digital World. Insteadof returining to a peaceful Japan, they return to find Japan in chaos. One by one, all the children in Tokyo are disappearing. Ken senses an evil force behind this and it reminded him of distant memories. As if his own fears were answered, evil Digimon such as MarineDevimon, LadyDevimon, and SkullSatamon led by Daemon begin to invade the real world. Frightened of the shadow of drakness that haunted him, Ken joined up with Davis, intending to rescue everyone. But not even Imperialdramon could defeat them…mainly because his data is frozen. The rest of the Digidestined give their powers to Imperialdramon and he Mode Changes to Imperialdramon Fighter Mode, defeating SkullSatamon.

Episode 44: Dark Sun, Dark Seed
Daemon’s corps attack a peaceful city out of nowhere, Paildramon had to Mode Change to Fighter Mode, but had to destroy a Digimon in the process. This loss weighed down on the Digidestined’s hearts. Just when things look like they couldn’t get any worse, Arukenimon appeared with the missing children as hostages and demands Ken to go with her. Wanting to save Ken, Davis follows after the truck on Raidramon. Also after Ken, Daemon’s corps destroy the city without mercy. Ken learns more about his past, Oikawa and the Dark Spores as Oikawa made copies of the Dark Spore inside him and transfers it to the kids, who said they wanted to be super smart and great at sports just like Ken is. Meanwhile Oikawa’s truck is still being followed closely by Davis when suddenly Daemon appears right in front of the truck!

Episode 45: The Dark Gate
Oikawa, having made copies of the Dark Spore within Ken, was willing to hand him over to Daemon. Davis takes this chance and rescues Ken, but Arukenimon and the rest got away with the children. Davis tries as hard as he could, with Cody and Yolei joining in too, to fight off Daemon. But even Imperialdramon and all their powers combined are unable to defeat the darkest Digimon. Ken realise that they can seal him in the Dark Ocean so he won’t be able to come back. So he tried to remember his dark past but it wasn’t enough so his friends help him and together Ken is able to open the Dark Gate and Daemon is forced into the World of Darkness.

Episode 46: Duel of the WarGreymon
In the meantime the Dark Spores have been growing inside the children. The worried faces of the parents of the kidnapped children change, as they are now pleased to see their children again. The children now display high intelligence and a genius IQ. Davis and the others know what will happen if the seeds stayed within them. They try to contact each of their homes in order to save them, but the parents either don’t believe them or don’t care. Also, Agumon tells the Digidestined that BlackWarGreymon has entered the Real World. BlackWarGreymon searches for Oikawa for his purpose, knowing he was created by Oikawa and wants to kill him. But Agumon warp-digivolve to WarGreymon and stops him. They started to fight and Imperialdramon came in when all of them release their most powerful attack, knocking all of them out. The Digimon ask BlackWarGreymon about his Destiny and whether he wants to be their friend. BlackWarGreymon leaves trying sort out what happened.

Episode 47: BlackWarGreymon’s Destiny
Ken and the others try once again to persuade the children, but they were fascinated by the powers of the Dark Spore and coldly rebuffed Ken’s frantic attempts to win them over. One of the children, a girl named Noriko, has her seed ready to be harvested. Oikawa arrive with the others, including BlackWarGreymon and Cody’s grandfather. Oikawa absorbs the energy from the Dark Spore as Noriko collapses. Oikawa and Cody’s grandfather then talk about the past when they were both friends. He tries to kill Cody’s grandfather but BlackWarGreymon took the hit instead. Knowing that he was fatally wounded, BlackWarGreymon sealed the Digi-Gate at Hight View Terrace with the rest of his remaining energy.

Episode 48: Oikawa’s Shame
Using the powers of the Dark Spores, Oikawa is going to make his long awaited dream of going to the Digital World come true. The Digidestined and the rest keep a close eye on Oikawa and the rest when the kids and Oikawa sing a very weird song as the Digital Gate opens right in front of their eyes. The new Digidestined rush inside the Gate as it closes, but they find out it’s actually not the Digital World, but rather a world in which their desires come true. Then Oikawa reveals his true form as MaloMyotismon. Myotismon had possessed him 4 years ago and this was his true form. He gets rid of Arukenimon and Mummymon easily as the kids watch in horror and stay where they are until Davis and Veemon steps into the battle.

Episode 49: Last Temptation of the Digidestined
At last the final enemy, MaloMyotsimon, showed himself. The children were unable to move in the face of this extreme cruelty and overwhelming terror. Only Davis did not falter before MaloMyotismon, and stood alone to face him. Unaffected by the air of despair, and believing in himself and ExVeemon, Davis fights on. These feelings give ExVeemon strength and he was finally able to damage MaloMyotismon. But just they are about to defeat MaloMyotismon, he sends out a dazzling light that surround the Digidestined. In the midst of the light, the children lost consciousness. When they open their eyes, what awaited them are scenes from the desires deep within their hearts. Will they end up throwing away their courage to fight on in the face of this desparate situation?

Episode 50: A Million Points of Lights
Davis, Veemon, and his evolutions appear before the Digidestined in their minds as they realise that it’s just a dream and wakes them up. Using their strong emotions for strength, the Digidestined enable their Digimon to Digivolve and because they are in a different world, all of the Digimon’s evolutions could be reached separately. With the sheer amounts of attacks that MaloMyotismon received, MaloMyotismon is close to the edge of defeat. But then he escapes to the Digital World through a tear in the dimension. The Digidestined follows MaloMyotismon as they discover that the Digimon disappear except for Imperialdramon Fighter Mode, Silphymon and Shakkoumon. Absorbing the Digital World’s power of darkness, MaloMyotismon tries to cover both the real world and the Digital World in an attempt to rule over both the worlds. Suddenly light shines from the Digivices of all the DigiDestineds all over the world, surrounding their partner Digimon. With the surrounding light, and the dreams and hopes of the children, MaloMyotsimon slowly dissolves until his spirit is left. Imperialdramon Fighter Mode then uses his Positron Laser to blast through MaloMyotismon’s spirit, permanently destroying him for good.
